I serve on numerous non-profit and government advisory boards: I typically serve on committees such as operations and policy committees. I have served in Director, Vice President, and President roles. I enjoy serving on operations strategy committees and community outreach committees. I’ve led the development and execution of numerous events and fundraisers. I find the work of serving on boards intellectually fascinating, a serious responsibility representing the interests of the stakeholders and a way I can be helpful to great Executive Directors  and leadership teams.

Let the work begin. My two year gap year has come to a close– One planned…the second one not so much….🙄. I even grew some hair. I have quite a few projects that I plan to launch this year and I am super excited to get back to Board work, investing and entrepreneurial ventures! I look forward to the launch of 3 projects that has been brewing for quite some time…. Bourbonite Society, AspireHigher365, and Black Futures Weekend. I look forward to supporting my little sister @shebold_stock as she grows her company and reach 10,000 members!🤪……..ehem… all paying ones of course..🤣.

I have been working with a coach who is helping develop into the leader I hope to be. This is my first time working with a coach and I am already seeing how beneficial it can be. It forces you to think about the next step and because I do not like to show up to meeting empty handed without progress updates, it is making me accountable to my word.
