I am full of gratitude that this political ‘season’ has passed. As I get older, more than ever, I have realized the shifting perspectives of life. All in one relatively short lifetime, I have seen how quickly the things that were once abhorred and pearl clutching transform into the status quo.
Like Newton’s third law of Motion, for every opinion there is an equal and opposite viewpoint.
There are two types of Change: Natural change and Change for power. Alas, the latter has a strong-hold in each generation’s evolution.
Often, I ask if alignment and embrace of the group is necessary–knowing their systems and their collective ideals will change in due time.
Leading up to each election day, they raise your energy knowing it will only fizzle out within the subsequent 7 days. 9 months from now, there, you will be as if none of this ever happened. Same salary. Same oppression. Same hatred. Same soul sucking job. Same cycle. Same prayers for renewed salvation….Same…Same…A few years from now you’ll be reactivated once more.
You’ll forget not to put our confidence in the Most High [whose essence works through you], but in man– far outside of oneself with their own aims.
It is better to Trust in God than to put your stock in man. Psalm 118:8 
All too often individuals become animalistic in their passions. Exhausting their energy for the very things that do not serve them. Becoming willfully blind to the things that will.
Similarly, the group that believes they are flying high are contained within a spiral- encircling the dying carcass of ideology. Keeping many stuck within the same pattern and systems.
Know WHO is creating through YOU– harnessing your gifts and abilities–and what is being created.
At the end of the day for the, illumined mind, I pray that transformed lives and circumstances will come through YOU.
Under the fullest of moons
The fruits of the season have been plucked.
As the grapevine may produce bitter fruit.
It may yet fill the bellies of some;
While much more lay waste and rot.
